Within Australia

AVA utilises Australia Post Services to deliver your online orders. 

Please note the following shipping information:

  1. Shipping within Australia is free of charge

  2. Please allow 5 to 10 working days for delivery within Australian regional areas and interstate metropolitan areas. 

  3. If you require an express delivery, please comment when checking out or send us an email (hello@ava-design.com). Please note express post wil incur a surchage. 

  4. While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

Outside of Australia 

AVA works with Australia Post and ocassionally DHL Express to deliver your online orders safely and in record time. 

Please note the following shipping information:

  1. Please allow 7 to 14 working days for international orders. Please note for international orders that delays may occur due to customs clearance procedures.

  2. While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

  3. Please also note that customs duty fees applicable to international postage and deliveries is the responsibilty of the buyer. 

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges 

How to return an item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. This applies to online and studio and market purchases. 

You must return the item within 14 days of your purchase (for Australian purchases) and within 30 days (for outside Australia).

  1. Please email hello@ava-design.com to inform that you are returning an item. Please include in your email your reason for returning the item and the receipt.  Please also include the bank account details you would like the funds to be refunded to. We will then provide you with a returned funds for your item.

**Please note that you are responsible for any costs associated with returning the item to us including any currency conversion costs.

***Refunds will be processed once the garment is returned to AVA and can take up to 3-5 working days. Refunds will be deposted back to credit card account or direct deposit to chosen bank account. 

Returns exceptions 

Items that have been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. 

Faulty Items Returns

If an item is faulty, wrongly described or different from the sample shown then we will meet our legal obligations which may include refunding the purchase price and delivery charges, or providing a replacement product, provided the item is returned within a reasonable time with proof of purchase.

Please note that any additional cost incurred due to currency conversion will not be refunded, and is considered the responsibility of the customer. 

Exchanges

If your item is in new condition, you may exchange it for a different size or colour. Please note that you will need to pay for the return shipping.
